The Guard

The Guard is a video slot machine created by SimplePlay, featuring a structure of 5 reels and 3 rows. This game offers 30 fixed paylines that pay from left to right. Its theme is oriental, showcasing a guard, a thief, lanterns, masks, swords, a moon stamp, and luxurious treasures that evoke ancient China, all set in an environment of imperial palaces.

The Wild symbol is represented by the moon and can substitute for all paying symbols except for the Scatter, appearing only on the central reels during the base game. The Scatter is represented by a treasure chest; obtaining three or more Scatters anywhere activates the free spins round.

In the free spins mode, the player chooses between two special Wild symbols (the guard or the thief), and an initial win multiplier of x2 is applied, which increases by one after every block of five free spins. The total number of free spins can be unlimited, but the bonus ends when the unchosen wild appears on reel 3, starting a countdown of five spins that could conclude the mode if the player does not land their selected wild.

The game allows bets that range from low to high, making it accessible for different types of players. There is no "Bonus Buy" feature to directly acquire free spins. Additionally, the base game can grant access to one of three progressive jackpots, which are randomly activated during a normal spin.

Visually, The Guard captivates with its detailed graphics and animations, creating an immersive atmosphere. The most lucrative symbols are the guard and the thief: aligning five of them can yield very high line multipliers. Lastly, the game features high volatility, meaning that while wins may be less frequent, they can be significant when the right combinations or bonus features are activated.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
