Caishen: God of Fortune – HOLD & WIN by Betsoft is a video slot with an oriental design that unfolds on a 5-reel and 3-row layout, offering 243 ways to win. The theme revolves around Caishen, the Chinese god of fortune, and traditional symbols such as golden boats, money trees, dragons, and Caishen himself appear in a red and gold environment that evokes wealth and prosperity.
In the base game, there is a Wild symbol, exclusive to reels 2, 3, and 4, which substitutes for most symbols to complete winning combinations. There are also “Stacked Mystery” symbols that can completely cover a reel and, when revealed, show identical regular symbols, increasing the potential to win multiple lines at once.
The central feature is the HOLD & WIN. It is activated by landing six Bonus symbols, or five Bonuses plus a Collect symbol, awarding three respins. During these respins, the Bonus and Collect symbols that appeared are locked, new similar symbols also remain, and each time these appear, the respins are reset. If you manage to fill all 15 spaces on the board with symbols during this round, the Grand Jackpot is awarded.
Within that same Hold & Win round, the Extra Win symbol can appear, which selects several visible Bonus symbols at random, increases their values one by one, and then turns into a Bonus symbol. In the base game, the Caishen Collect feature triggers when a Collect symbol appears accompanied by between one and four Bonus symbols, immediately collecting their accumulated value.
The game includes the “Feature Buy” option, which allows the player to enter the Hold & Win round directly by paying a set price based on the bet. The amount varies depending on whether a standard trigger or a version with a guaranteed Collect symbol is desired.
The maximum possible prize in Caishen: God of Fortune – HOLD & WIN is 2,331 times the bet, available during the Hold & Win round if the appropriate conditions are met. It does not offer free spins or independent multipliers apart from those integrated into the already mentioned special features.
You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
