Fire Portals by Pragmatic Play is a video slot with a cluster-pays mechanic on a 7×7 grid, where you win when five or more identical symbols are connected horizontally or vertically. The game immerses you in a magical-fantasy atmosphere with symbols such as potions, rings, an hourglass, and a wizard, surrounded by ancient runes and a mystical portal theme. The Tumble feature removes winning clusters; the empty spaces are filled by new symbols falling from above, allowing for chain reactions.

The unique element is the Fire Portal Wilds: these wilds appear in random positions within a winning cluster that does not already contain a wild. They start with a multiplier of ×1, and each time such a wild is part of a winning combination, the multiplier increases by 1 and the wild shifts position. If two or more wilds contribute to the same cluster, they merge and their multipliers are multiplied.

Free spins are activated with three or more scatter symbols, and you receive between 10 and 18 free spins, depending on the number of scatters. During this bonus round, all Fire Portal Wilds stick to the grid (sticky), including the wilds that were already present when the free spins were activated, and they retain their multiplier value. The round can be re-triggered by additional scatters.
