Cloud Quest

Cloud Quest by Play’n GO is a video slot set on a 5×5 grid that uses cluster-style wins instead of traditional paylines: matching symbols in horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines of at least three anywhere on the grid qualifying as wins. The theme is high fantasy, with floating castles, heroic characters (warriors and wizards), shields, potions, books, swords and dragons filling both the grid and background. There is a Wild symbol—represented by a golden shield—which substitutes for other symbols and always replaces the middle symbol in winning combinations of three to help form further wins through cascading reels.

One of the main features is the Super Power system. When “Power Stone” symbols are part of a winning cluster, they charge a meter; once certain sections are illuminated, a wheel spins and if it lands on an activated section, a re-spin with one of four special Super Powers is awarded. These Super Powers include Five of Fortune (multiplying wins), Emblem of Endurance (dropping “enduring” wilds that stay), Mark of Multitude (turning symbols into wilds in specific positions during re-spins), and Scatter of Success (where all symbols act as scatters for extra wins).

There is also a Bonus round triggered when a randomly selected “BONUS” row in the grid has all symbols cleared. When this happens, you are awarded between 5 and 20 free spins on a special 3-reel, single-row mini-slot. In the bonus round you must defeat monsters across five stages by achieving a required number of winning combinations in each stage, or by landing three “bonus marks” to kill a monster instantly. Defeating each monster adds extra free spins and increases the multipliers for wins in subsequent stages. Completing all five stages grants a prize in relation to the total bet.

Cloud Quest features a level and rank system: by defeating monsters in the Bonus round you gain experience points and advance through ranks, each granting a sense of progression as you play. There is no bonus buy feature in this game.
