Grim Muerto

Grim Muerto by Play’n GO is a video slot with five reels and twenty fixed paylines. The game revolves around the Mexican Día de Muertos theme, featuring exuberant mariachi music, colorful skeletons, and a festive atmosphere in the visuals and symbols. In the base game, one reel is randomly marked with each spin; if the Golden Guitar Wild symbol lands on it, it expands to cover the entire reel. The Wild symbol substitutes for all regular symbols except for the scatters. Scatters are the Book symbols that, when three land on reels 1, 3, and 5, activate the Free Spins feature with ten free spins.

During the Free Spins, Candle symbols can award extra spins: one candle can give three extra spins, while two candles can even provide six extra spins. In the Free Spins, multiple reels are marked more frequently (between two and five), increasing the chances of Wilds expanding on those reels. Additionally, an extra Wild appears during the Free Spins phase, coming from one of the mariachi members, further enhancing the winning potential.

If you get two Book Scatters in the base game, you activate the Second Chance feature: you then get to choose a mariachi, behind which a prize or the third scatter is hidden to potentially go to Free Spins. Grim Muerto does not include a Bonus Buy option; the bonus features must normally be triggered through the scatters and the second chance feature. The game thus offers a mix of festive journeys, expanding Wilds, free spins, retriggers, and choice moments for added excitement.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
