In Play'n GO's Moon Princess Trinity, players engage with a 5×5 grid utilizing a Cluster Pays mechanic, where three or more matching symbols must align either horizontally or vertically to create winning combinations. When winning clusters are formed, the symbols disappear, allowing those above to cascade down, which may lead to additional wins in a chain reaction. The game features a captivating theme that merges anime with fantasy, showcasing the magical trio of princesses: Love, Star, and Storm, each endowed with distinct supernatural abilities.

The base game includes a Win Multiplier mechanic, where five grid positions are highlighted during each spin. If a winning symbol lands in one of these highlighted spots, the multiplier increases by +1 for that spin and continues to apply throughout the cascade, resetting for the next paid spin. A Wild symbol is generated whenever a winning combination is cleared, and it can replace other symbols to assist in forming new clusters.

On non-winning spins, the Girl Power feature may activate randomly. Princess Love can change one set of symbols into another, Princess Star may introduce one or two Wilds onto the grid, and Princess Storm eliminates two types of low-paying symbols, substituting them with higher-paying options or Wilds. The Trinity feature activates when a meter with six segments is filled through winning combinations involving the princess symbols: three matching symbols fill one segment, four fill two, and five fill three. Once the meter is full, players receive a single free round where all three princess abilities are executed in order. If the grid is completely cleared during this free round, the bonus can retrigger without resetting the win multiplier.

Additionally, there is a Clear Grid bonus that rewards players with 50× their bet for clearing all symbols from the grid during the base game. The maximum potential win in Moon Princess Trinity is capped at approximately 4,000× the stake when all features are combined, and the main bonus round is represented by the Trinity free round, rather than a traditional free spins feature.
