Reactoonz 2 by Play’n GO is a video slot set on a 7×7 grid with a cluster pays mechanic: groups of at least five adjacent matching symbols, either horizontally or vertically, are needed to achieve a win, after which the winning symbols explode and new symbols fall from above, potentially generating further explosions. The theme is sci-fi with fun and colorful alien creatures, set in a space laboratory with creatures that have one or two eyes, along with the mighty Gargantoon and the new Energoon. A central feature is the "Fluctometer": on each spin, a one-eyed alien is chosen as a variant symbol; if it is part of a winning cluster, it generates one or more Electric Wilds and helps fill the Fluctometer. The "Quantumeter" charges with symbols removed through wins generated by Electric Wilds or the explosion of pairs of Wilds; it has four charging levels up to 135 total charges. At the first levels, it releases Energoon Wilds (wild symbols of varying sizes), at level 3 the Gargantoon Wild (3×3) is released, while level 4 is an overcharge that applies a ×2 multiplier to all wins involving the Gargantoon. After the Gargantoon enters play, the Quantumeter can no longer charge further. If two or more Electric Wilds remain after the explosions, the Wild Pair Explosion feature is activated, which destroys symbols between adjacent or separated Wilds, but still contributes to the charging of the Quantumeter. Reactoonz 2 does not include a traditional free spins round or a bonus buy feature; all bonus features are integrated into the flow of the base game through the charging of the meters and the special Wilds. Play’n GO has thus created a dynamic experience where each spin can trigger chains of events and multiple features without separating the base game from a separate bonus.
