Kingdom Below by Play’n GO is a 5-reel, 4-row video slot with 12 fixed paylines, set in a hellish underworld filled with fire, lava, beasts and flaming symbols. The central character is The Beast, who floats above the reels and triggers special collection features. One main mechanic is the Grab Feature, where The Beast collects all Grab symbols under him and adds their cash values, which can be high multipliers of the bet. Another feature is Slide n Grab, in which The Beast sweeps across all reels, grabbing Grab symbols wherever they appear and multiplying the total by the number of reels involved. There’s also an Under Reel feature that lets The Beast pull mystery grab prizes from beneath the reels; during Free Spins this can even bring Scatter symbols that help trail progression. Free Spins are activated by landing three or more Scatter symbols, awarding 10 free spins initially. Before Free Spins begin you pick a “Fire” which grants a modifier such as extra free spins, more Grab symbols, or removal of low-paying symbols. As you collect Scatters during Free Spins, you move along a 12-step trail; at certain steps you get extra picks of modifiers, retrigger free spins, or obtain win multipliers. Up to four modifiers can be active at once, and some modifiers have upgraded versions with stronger effects. There is no bonus buy in the game.
