Legacy of the Sages

Legacy of the Sages by Evoplay is a video slot set on a 5×5 grid with 15 fixed paylines, drawing its atmosphere from a mystical East Asian temple surrounded by mountain vistas. The game features sacred animals—dragon, tiger, phoenix, monkey, and rabbit—with the Dragon acting as the Wild symbol. A core mechanic is the Mystery Chain feature: when five or more Mystery symbols land on adjacent reels forming a continuous link, they transform into either Wilds or Money symbols. Money symbols carry random values and can also reveal one of three fixed jackpots—Mini, Mega, or Super—when triggered via the Mystery Chain. Free Spins are activated by landing three or more Scatter symbols, and during Free Spins all Mystery symbols convert into Money symbols only, heightening the impact of the Mystery Chain. It is possible to retrigger Free Spins by landing more Scatters during the feature. In jurisdictions where it is permitted, there is a Bonus Buy version allowing players to instantly purchase entry into the Free Spins feature, choosing between different lengths. Wilds substitute for regular symbols to help form wins but do not replace special symbols such as Scatter, Mystery or Money. The game theme and aesthetic lean heavily on Asian motifs—floating lanterns, temple architecture, mythic animals—combined with rich animations and evocative sound to bring the setting to life.
