Gold Nugget Rush – Hold & Win

Betsoft presents Gold Nugget Rush – Hold & Win, a video slot characterized by high volatility, featuring a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 fixed paylines. The game draws inspiration from the California Gold Rush of 1849, showcasing classic gold mining symbols like gold nuggets, gold pans, and various mining tools, all set against a backdrop of rugged mountains. Within the base game, players will find stacked mystery symbol positions that transform into a single randomly selected regular symbol before each spin, potentially leading to significant wins when multiple stacks align. A Wild symbol is available, substituting for all regular symbols except for the Bonus, Boost, and Scatter symbols.

The Hold & Win feature serves as the primary bonus mechanic, activated by landing six Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels or by obtaining five Bonus symbols along with one special Boost symbol. When this feature is triggered, players receive three respins, with the counter resetting each time a new Bonus or Boost symbol appears. The Boost symbol enhances the value of all visible Bonus symbols during this round. Additionally, during the Hold & Win feature, Mystery Bonus symbols can emerge, transforming randomly into one of the fixed jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major, Mega) or another Boost.

A Free Spins feature is also included, which is activated when three Scatter symbols appear on the middle reels, granting eight free spins. During these spins, low-paying symbols are removed, allowing only high-paying symbols and special symbols like Wilds and Bonuses to appear, increasing the likelihood of forming stronger combinations. Furthermore, a Gold Rush mechanic is present, enabling Bonus symbols (or Bonus plus Boost) to randomly trigger the Hold & Win feature in both the base game and Free Spins. For those eager to dive straight into the action, the Buy Feature allows players to access the Hold & Win round immediately.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
