Hounds of Hell

Hounds of Hell, developed by Hacksaw, presents a video slot experience with a 5×5 grid and a "scatter pays" mechanism, where players achieve wins by landing six or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. The game immerses players in a dark underworld atmosphere, highlighted by striking fiery visuals and the presence of ominous hellhounds as key symbols. A notable aspect of the game is the Hellhound symbols, which, when they land, expand upwards within their respective reel columns, offering either additive or multiplicative bonuses. These collected values are displayed above each reel and are summed before being multiplied by the player's stake.

When two or more Hellhounds land on adjacent reels within the same row, a Roaring Pack is created, enhancing winning potential by removing lower-paying symbols and providing higher bonus values for the Hellhound symbols. The game also features a random element called "Hounds Are Loose," which activates when a spin yields no wins; this feature removes all low-paying symbols, allowing new symbols to cascade down, thereby increasing the likelihood of landing Hellhounds among the replacements.

There are two unique free spins rounds in the game. The first, "What the Hell!", is triggered by landing three scatter symbols, during which the multipliers for Hellhounds are retained above the reels and increase progressively. The second round, "Who Let the Hounds Out?!?", is activated with four scatter symbols, transforming the reels that first receive Hellhounds into permanent Hell Reels, guaranteeing at least one Hellhound for each subsequent spin on those reels.

Before the free spins begin, players can engage in a Bonus Gamble, where they select from five Hellfire Orbs, choosing up to three. These Orbs may yield additional free spins or provide an instant upgrade that leads directly to the more rewarding free spins feature. Furthermore, players have access to various Bonus Buy options, allowing them to purchase direct entry to the free spins features or improve their chances of obtaining bonuses, depending on the operator and jurisdiction.
