The Cursed Idol of Montezuma Treasure Hunt™

The Cursed Idol of Montezuma Treasure Hunt™ is a video slot from Yggdrasil played on a grid of 6 reels and 4 rows with 20 fixed paylines. The game features an Aztec theme with temples, golden idols, jungle symbols, and an atmosphere of ancient treasure hunger. The Treasure Hunt™ map is the core of the game: once two Scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels, the player receives a pick-card board with 30 segments where they can win free spins, cash prizes, Sticky Wilds, or upgrades. Free Spins are activated by bonus symbols or via the map; during Free Spins, the Sticky Wilds remain locked throughout the entire bonus round. During Free Spins, additional Scatter symbols can lead to the Bonus Wheel, where multipliers, more Sticky Wilds, or one of the fixed jackpots can be won. The Montezuma Mystery Prize is activated when stacked Montezuma symbols appear on the first five reels in combination with the special Cursed Idol symbol on the sixth reel. The game also offers the Golden Bet option, which doubles the chance of triggering Free Spins, and in markets where allowed, there is a Bonus Buy feature to gain direct access to Free Spins. The graphics and animations are spectacular and atmospheric, with dramatic effects during the Mystery Prize. The game combines progressive card selections and fixed jackpot opportunities, building excitement both within a single session and across multiple sessions through the Treasure Map.
