Towering Pays™ Valhalla

Towering Pays™ Valhalla by Yggdrasil is a video slot that immerses players in a Viking and mythology theme, showcasing a remarkable transformation of the machines when "Towers" come into play. The game begins with a standard layout of 5 reels and 3 rows, providing 15 paylines. Thanks to the Towering Pays™ mechanic, the grid can expand to a size of 5×8, which increases the total number of paylines to 65, thereby boosting the potential for wins and multipliers.

The Towers appear stacked on the first three reels, and during subsequent free spins, they can also show up on reel 4. In the Odin variant, Towers may land on all five reels. When they appear on the initial three reels, they convert into the same symbol, creating winning combinations. Advancing through the stages raises the number of rows by one and adds ten more paylines, up to the maximum configuration.

In terms of multipliers, the base game (5×3) allows for a maximum of a ×2 multiplier, while the full 5×8 grid can yield multipliers up to ×10. The game includes a Feature Trail, and when the grid reaches its maximum size with at least one Tower on the first three reels, players can select from four distinct free spins rounds: Valkyrie, Loki, Thor, and Odin. Players have the option to accept the proposed round or attempt to secure a more favorable free spins choice.

Each free spins round starts with seven spins, and additional spins are granted when at least one Tower lands on each eligible reel during the round. The four variants of free spins vary in terms of Tower placements and multiplier applications: Valkyrie does not assure multipliers; Loki does; Thor features Towers on reel 4; and Odin includes Towers on both reel 4 and reel 5 once the grid is fully expanded.

Moreover, a Bonus Buy feature is available, enabling players to directly access the free spins options at different price points, each with varying probabilities of activating one of the free spins variants. The game also incorporates a Wild symbol that can substitute for other regular symbols to form winning combinations, excluding the Tower symbols.
