Alien Invaders

The video slot "Alien Invaders" from Pragmatic Play features 5 reels, each capable of showing between 3 and 5 symbols on each spin. Instead of traditional paylines, wins are achieved when at least three matching symbols appear on a designated bottom row. When matching symbols land on the reels, those reels become "active," allowing all matching symbols on them to count towards a win. Following this, the symbols explode, making way for new ones to fall into place. Each spin begins with a global win multiplier at 1×, which increases by 1× for every 10 symbols that explode during the tumbling process; wild symbols that reach the bottom row can contribute their own multipliers as well. In the base game, wilds are found on reel three and expand to cover reels two, three, and four during free spins.

When a scatter symbol lands or is triggered into the bottom row, it causes an explosion that affects adjacent symbols in all directions, aiding in wins and tumbles. If three scatters are landed in a single spin, it activates the free spins bonus, granting seven spins, with each additional scatter beyond the third providing three more spins. During the free spins, the reels can randomly increase in height by one symbol (up to five symbols), and this height remains for the duration of the free spins. The global win multiplier continues throughout all free spins without resetting, and wilds can carry significantly larger multipliers—up to 100×—in this mode.

Additionally, "Alien Invaders" features an Ante Bet option, which raises the wager by 25% to enhance the likelihood of triggering free spins naturally. There is also a Bonus Buy feature available, offering two options: a standard free spins purchase and a "Super Free Spins" purchase, which starts with a higher multiplier. The game's theme revolves around sci-fi and alien invasion, with visuals of creatures, explosive scatters, and cosmic elements enhancing the intergalactic atmosphere.
