Versailles Gold, developed by EGT Digital, is a video slot that features a traditional setup of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 10 fixed paylines. The game immerses players in the opulent lifestyle of the Versailles palace, adorned with symbols like the king, queen, royal carriages, and golden embellishments that epitomize the grandeur of the French court. The "Royal Seal" symbol functions as both a wild and a scatter, substituting for regular symbols and triggering 12 free spins when three or more appear in any position.
During the free spins round, a random ordinary symbol (excluding the wild/scatter) is chosen to become a special expanding symbol. This symbol expands to fill all three positions on its reel whenever it appears during the free spins, paying out regardless of its location on the active lines. If three or more scatters land again in this round, players can retrigger the free spins, gaining an additional 12 spins added to the remaining total.
Versailles Gold also includes a Gamble feature, allowing players to wager their winnings after any win (up to a certain limit) by guessing the color of a card (red or black); a correct guess doubles the payout, while an incorrect guess results in a loss of that win. Additionally, the game features a progressive jackpot mechanism called Jackpot Cards, which can be triggered randomly on any spin; players must select from face-down cards until three matching suit symbols are revealed to win one of the four jackpot levels.
There is no bonus buy option available; all features, including free spins, the wild/scatter, and the Gamble function, are activated through standard gameplay. Players have the flexibility to adjust the number of active lines, choosing from 1, 3, 5, 7, or 10, enabling them to customize their bets according to their preferences. The game's graphics and soundtrack amplify the luxurious royal theme, showcasing golden details, intricate backgrounds, and an overall majestic atmosphere.
You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
