Circle of Life

Circle of Life by Hacksaw is a video slot with a 5-reel, 4-row grid and 14 fixed paylines. The theme is dark and mythological, centering on a haunted forest motif with symbolic imagery like skull-adorned trees, silent spirits, and a brooding nature atmosphere. The central special symbols are Tree symbols, which act as wilds and arrive with multipliers between 2× and 100× and substitute for regular symbols. When a Tree symbol helps form a win, it becomes sticky and triggers respins, growing upward into a “Tree of Life” over successive respins.

If a Tree of Life expands all the way from the bottom row to the top, it activates the Circle of Life wheel feature. The wheel spins until it lands on a skull, accumulating either additive multipliers (adding fixed amounts) or multiplicative ones (doubling the current total) that boost the Tree’s multiplier before shutting down with the skull.

The game offers three tiers of free spins bonuses: Origin, Eternal, and Rebirth. Origin is triggered by three Free Spins scatter symbols, and during this mode Trees stay sticky across spins. Eternal, triggered by four scatters, adds mechanics where certain reels become “activated” and guarantee Tree symbols landing on them. Rebirth, the hidden epic bonus triggered by five scatters (or via upgrade symbols), starts with reels already activated (notably reels 2 and 4) and applies Eternal mechanics from the beginning.

Free Spins are triggered by scatter symbols that spread to fill their reels, each covered position revealing a number (often +1 to +3) indicating spins, which are summed for the total free spins awarded. There are upgrade symbols that can appear during the scatter expansion to elevate the bonus mode. Circle of Life also includes feature buy options (where permitted), which allow entering certain bonus modes directly. The maximum win is up to 15,000× the bet.
