MexoMax 2 WildEnergy™ MultiMax™ from Yggdrasil features a video slot designed around an Aztec jungle theme, utilizing a 6×6 grid and cluster pays system. Wins are triggered when five or more matching symbols connect either horizontally or vertically. Each winning combination activates an avalanche feature, which removes the winning cluster, allows new symbols to fall into place, and places a Wild in one of the empty positions. Above each reel, a MultiMax™ multiplier increases by +1 whenever a wild appears on that reel; these multipliers reset after non-winning spins or broken avalanches during the base game, but they remain active throughout Free Spins.
The game includes three varieties of Wild symbols: a standard Wild, a WildEnergy™ Wild that comes with 2-4 lives and remains on the reels while contributing to wins, and an Extra Multiplier Wild that can enhance the reel’s multiplier by values ranging from ×2 to ×50. Additionally, modifiers can activate randomly on non-winning spins, introducing features such as Hand of the Gods, which turns some symbols into matching ones, Temple Wind, which transforms an entire row, or Sun Stone, which modifies a 2×2 block to create or enhance wins.
Landing three or more Scatter symbols during base game spins unlocks Free Spins; three scatters grant 7 Free Spins, four provide 9, and five offer 11. Before the Free Spins commence, players have the option to gamble for a chance to increase the number of spins awarded, with a risk involved. During Free Spins, the reel multipliers do not reset, allowing them to accumulate to significant levels through consecutive avalanches.
A Golden Bet option is available for players, which incurs an additional cost and either enhances the likelihood of triggering Free Spins or ensures special Wilds appear with every avalanche in the base game. In certain jurisdictions, players can utilize Feature Buy options to directly purchase entry into the Free Spins round, including choices that guarantee higher spin counts. The game offers a maximum win potential of up to 10,000× the bet.
You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
