Bad Granny

Bad Granny from Espresso is a video slot with 5 reels and 4 rows and 32 fixed paylines. The theme is humorous and revolves around a seemingly sweet grandmother who lives a double life as a thief at night – the symbols and graphics reflect her daily life with a twist when night falls. The game features Wild-granny, which acts as a Wild symbol, and Super Wild, which can only appear on the middle reel and provides a ×3 multiplier to the wins it is part of.

The Scatter symbol is Nighttime Granny, and when 3 or more of these appear, the Free Spins round is activated. In Free Spins, the grandmother attempts to carry out thefts; success grants extra spins and increases the multiplier up to ×5, while the alarm system can trigger and reduce her attempts, potentially ending the round. There is also a bonus round called Piggy Banks Bonus, which is activated with 3 bonus symbols on reels 3, 4, and 5.

In Piggy Banks Bonus, players must choose between piggy banks (“pick-and-click”) to reveal instant multipliers that can reach up to ×30. The Free Spins and bonus round cannot be triggered simultaneously; the symbols required for the two features are located on different reels and areas. The game does not allow bonus buys (“bonus buy”) – all bonus features are activated through the game’s regular symbol combinations. The design and atmosphere are cartoonish, with symbols such as a denture in a glass, slippers, a teapot, and yarn balls, all contributing to the caricatured universe.
