Haunted Crypt by Pragmatic Play is a 5×3 video slot with 20 fixed paylines set in a gothic horror world populated by eerie symbols and shadowy characters. Players can switch between two base-game modes called Value and Speed; the Speed mode increases the chance of triggering free spins while Value mode offers higher potential payouts. Wilds appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 and carry multipliers ranging from x2 up to x10, which add together when more than one wild contributes to a winning combination.

To trigger the Free Spins feature, players need to land three scatter symbols, which awards 10 free spins. During Free Spins, each wild that lands leaves an electrified frame in its position for the remainder of the feature. On every subsequent spin, all existing frames’ multipliers increase by +1. If a wild lands anywhere on the grid, all framed positions temporarily turn wild for that spin, and their stored multipliers apply to winning combinations running through them. Also, if a wild lands within a frame, that frame’s multiplier gains an extra +1 for that spin. Landing three scatters during Free Spins retriggers another five spins.

Haunted Crypt offers special bet options: Super Spin 1, which costs 20× the bet and ensures at least three positions on reels 2-4 are framed with random multipliers each spin, and Super Spin 2, which costs 100× the bet, frames at least four positions and adds a general multiplier of x2-x10 per spin. Neither Super Spin mode allows the Free Spins trigger. There is also a Feature Buy menu: players can buy straight into the standard free spins for 100× the bet, or the “Super Free Spins” for 500× the bet, which carry the global multiplier element from Super Spin 2. The game’s maximum win potential is capped at 10,000× the bet.
