Tales of Darkness: Lunar Eclipse

The video slot "Tales of Darkness: Lunar Eclipse" by Novomatic features a layout of six reels and ten fixed paylines. The game immerses players in a theme filled with vampires, full moons, and elements of dark gothic horror, highlighted by deep purple hues, bats, jeweled symbols, and eerie graveyards. A Wild symbol represented by the full moon also serves as a Scatter; landing three or more of these symbols activates the Free Spins feature. Once Free Spins are triggered, players are awarded ten free games. During this feature, one regular symbol, excluding the Scatter, is randomly chosen to become a special Bonus Lunar Symbol. This symbol appears stacked on reels two and five, expanding horizontally into adjacent positions whenever it lands during Free Spins. Additionally, wins can be achieved in both directions—left-to-right and right-to-left—during Free Spins, increasing the potential for payouts. There is no option to buy bonuses in this game, as all features must be activated through regular gameplay. The game exhibits medium volatility, suggesting that while there may be dry spells without wins, there are also opportunities for significant payouts when the Free Spins and expanding symbol mechanics come together.
