Diamond Link Mighty Viking™

The video slot Diamond Link Mighty Viking™ from Novomatic, developed through its Greentube division, features a fixed layout of 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 paylines. Inspired by Norse mythology, the game showcases Viking-themed visuals, including axes, helmets, shields, horned symbols, and a backdrop of a rugged, snowy landscape. In the base game, Wild symbols replace standard icons, while special Axe symbols—Blue and Golden—appear under specific conditions to interact with Diamonds.

A key aspect of the game is the Diamond Link™ Feature, which activates when six or more Diamond symbols land in a single spin. This feature starts with three Free Spins, and each time a new Diamond appears during these spins, the count resets to three. The feature concludes either when you exhaust your Free Spins without new Diamonds or when all 15 positions on the grid are filled with Diamonds.

During the Diamond Link™ Feature, Diamonds can have cash values or jackpot potential, including Mini, Minor, and Major jackpots, with the Grand Jackpot awarded for filling the entire grid. One of the Diamonds may be the Berserker Diamond, which begins with a multiplier and generates lightning strikes with each new Diamond that lands; these strikes can enhance the values of Pink Diamonds, and if the Berserker bolt hits the axe or the Berserker itself, the multiplier increases. The Golden Axe, once it appears, locks in place and amplifies the lightning strike effects—any Pink Diamond that lands beneath it will see its value increase with each new Diamond.

While there are no options for bonus buys, the game includes a gamble feature for certain smaller wins in select markets, although this is separate from the main Bonus Round mechanics. Additionally, a Streak Meter visual tracker updates when players return to the game after a period of 24–48 hours, but it does not affect gameplay. In summary, Diamond Link Mighty Viking™ integrates traditional slot mechanics—such as Wilds and paylines—with a complex bonus system that emphasizes symbol collection, respins, Free Spins, and the pursuit of both progressive and fixed jackpots through the Diamond Link™ Feature.
