Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win

“Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win” by Playson is a cluster pays video slot set in a colorful world of sweets, featuring a 6×5 grid and symbols that “collapse” when forming winning clusters. When eight or more identical symbols appear anywhere on the grid, the cascading symbols mechanic is activated, freeing up space for new symbols that can generate multiple wins in the same spin. The special symbols Coin and Super Coin do not pay in the base game but are used to trigger the bonus modes: the Bonus Game is entered if at least six Coins are obtained, while if one of these is a Super Coin, the Super Bonus Game is activated. Within the bonuses, respins are used: each time a new Coin or Super Coin symbol appears, the respin counter resets, until they run out or the grid fills up. The multipliers available in the bonuses vary: in the standard Bonus Game, they go up to ×10, while in the Super Bonus Game, they can rise up to ×20 thanks to the Super Coin, which also acts as a wild during that mode. There is also the “Sugar Piggy Feature” that randomly adds Coin or Super Coin symbols to the base game to bring the player closer to triggering the bonus. Additionally, the game offers a Buy Bonus feature that allows players to directly purchase the Bonus Game or the Super Bonus Game without waiting for natural activation. The theme is heavily focused on sweets: the graphics include candies, lollipops, sweet hearts, and other sugary elements that blend with the vibrant effects of the cluster mode and symbol explosions. “Sugar Piggy: Hold and Win” does not feature separate free spins from traditional bonuses, but the action is made intense by the cascading symbols, the effect of respins, and the multipliers that make the bonus phases the true attraction of the game.
