Lunar Link: The Legend of King Arthur™ from Playtech is a video slot with a layout of 5 reels and 30 fixed paylines, set in the medieval fantasy atmosphere of Camelot, where Arthuriana blends with lunar themes. The main Wild symbol is the character of King Arthur, which substitutes for other symbols except for special symbols like BONUS and Moon. There are two types of Moon symbols available: Blue Moon with a cash value and Golden Moon, which triggers the Lunar Link Wheel feature.
The Free Spins feature is activated when three or more BONUS symbols (shields) appear, followed by 6 free spins. During these spins, larger Wild or Moon symbols can appear in sizes of 1×1, 2×2, or 3×3 on reels 2-4. If at least 6 Moon symbols appear during Free Spins, they split into individual symbols and the Hold & Respin feature is triggered.
The Golden Moon symbol starts the Lunar Link Wheel feature, which provides a guaranteed reward – it can be cash, a multiplier, additional Free Spins, or entry into bonus rounds including Mini, Minor, or Major jackpots.
The Lunar Link Hold & Respin feature is triggered by the presence of six or more Moon symbols anywhere on the reels (or five if the Extra Bet mode is active). Once triggered, these symbols lock in place, and the player receives three respins, with any new Moon symbol restarting the count.
During Hold & Respin, special symbols can appear such as Chest Moon, which collects all current and future Moon values in that row, or Crown Moon, which upgrades up to eight random Moon symbols up to 10 times the bet.
If any of the first three columns are completely filled with Moon symbols, the feature unlocks a special spin on the Wheel, where multipliers of up to 5× are applied to all Moon symbol values in that column. The superior column (the fourth reel) allows access to Mini, Minor, or Major jackpots, and filling five positions on the fifth reel unlocks the Grand jackpot.
Choosing the Extra Bet mode doubles the bet but reduces the number of required Moon symbols to trigger Hold & Respin from six to five.
