Blue Wizard: Cash Collect & Link™

Blue Wizard: Cash Collect & Link™ is a video slot from Playtech with five reels and three rows, as well as thirty fixed paylines. The game features a mysterious fantasy theme where a wizard (“Blue Wizard”) is the main character, surrounded by symbols such as owls, potions, magical books, and jewels. In the base game, special symbols such as Wilds, various types of Coin Prize symbols, Cash Collect symbols, and Link and Mega Link symbols that activate bonus effects appear. The Wild symbol can appear on reels 2–5, and if it lands on reel 3, it can carry a multiplier of up to 8×.

The Cash Collect feature is activated when a Cash Collect symbol lands alongside one or more Coin Prize symbols, Free Games symbols, or Diamond symbols. In the base game, Cash Collect symbols can only appear on reels 1 and 5, but during Free Games, they can appear on all reels. Free Spins are triggered when Free Games symbols and Cash Collect symbols are obtained simultaneously, and during these spins, Wilds on reel 3 are guaranteed to be multiplying, and certain symbols can freeze in place for multiple spins.

The Collect & Link bonus is a type of “hold-and-respin” mode that is activated when a Link or Mega Link symbol appears alongside a Cash Collect symbol. This grants a number of respins where all qualifying symbols are locked, and if more Link/Mega Link symbols appear before the respins end, it resets the respin counter. Mega Link symbols can also upgrade values on visible coin prizes.

The game also features a Nudge function that sometimes pushes Cash Collect symbols forward to help activate the Cash Collect feature. Jackpots are available through Diamond symbols that can lead to one of four fixed jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand. The theme is enhanced by graphics and a background reminiscent of a magical forest, where the colors are dark with strong contrasts for the symbols.
