Butterfly Staxx

Butterfly Staxx by Netent is a video slot set on a 5-reel, 4-row grid with 40 fixed paylines. The theme centres on nature, with butterflies, cocoon symbols, tropical flowers and a serene garden setting giving a tranquil, floral atmosphere. Wild symbols (depicted as flowers) appear in both the base game and the Re-Spins feature and substitute for all regular symbols except the Scatter. A key feature is the Re-Spins: when an entire reel is filled with butterfly symbols (a “stack”), those butterflies move to the leftmost available positions on their respective rows, lock in place, and the remaining reels spin again; this repeats so long as additional butterfly symbols land visibly. The Butterfly Spins (free spins) bonus is triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols. During Butterfly Spins only cocoon symbols land; cocoon symbols that are active transform into butterflies, which then fly to the leftmost available spot per row and remain locked, much like during the Re-Spins. Butterfly Staxx does not offer a bonus buy feature. The win potential builds mainly through accumulation of butterflies in Re-Spins and Butterfly Spins rather than through high multipliers or risky mechanics. The game delivers a calm, steady pace, prioritising aesthetic detail, frequent smaller wins and soothing visuals over fast-paced volatility.
