Football: Champions Cup

Netent presents Football: Champions Cup, a video slot themed around a football tournament that features a grid of 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 fixed paylines. The game immerses players in a sports atmosphere, allowing them to select a national team before they start spinning. The visuals showcase stadium scenes, enthusiastic crowds, and various symbols such as jerseys, trophies, gloves, boots, and standard playing cards. In the base game, players can encounter Wild symbols that replace other symbols, excluding bonus and scatter symbols, along with Overlay Wilds that can appear randomly, enhancing the wild coverage by turning additional positions wild. To activate the Free Spins Tournament, players need to land three Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4, entering a knockout-style competition that includes rounds like the Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final, with each round offering 6 free spins. During the Free Spins, Scoring Wilds come into play, where blue Scoring Wilds on reels 1 and 2 score goals for the player, while red Scoring Wilds on reels 4 and 5 score for the opponent. If a Free Spins round concludes in a tie, additional spins are awarded until a team emerges victorious, and progressing through rounds yields more spins and increased rewards for the top three placements. Additionally, players can trigger a Penalty Shootout Bonus by landing three or more Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels; this interactive pick-and-click game involves alternating turns for taking penalties and acting as a goalkeeper over five rounds, with multipliers increasing based on the number of Bonus symbols that activated the round. The multiplier scales vary: three Bonus symbols provide a lower base multiplier that can grow during the shootout, four symbols offer a higher starting multiplier, and five symbols yield the greatest potential multiplier. Throughout the gameplay, music, sound effects, and visual elements amplify the excitement of the tournament experience.
