The Hive

The Hive is a video slot from Betsoft that features a unique honeycomb grid with a layout of 3-4-5-4-3 and 30 paylines that pay out in both directions. The game has a theme centered around bees, with colorful and cartoonish graphics showcasing symbols such as flowers, ladybugs, queen bees, and letters drizzled with honey. There are three special bee types in the game: the Queen Bee summons extra bees, the Drone Bee fills the Honey Meter, and the Worker Bee provides multipliers for the paylines it is adjacent to. To unlock the Sticky Sweet Free Spins, the Honey Meter must be completely filled with Drone Bees, after which you start with five free spins. During this round, up to three Spreading Wilds can be active, spreading across adjacent cells of the grid with each spin. The multiplier of the Worker Bees can increase as more of them are in play. The Queen Bee can appear at random moments and summon a swarm of bees, which is beneficial for both the Honey Meter and the multipliers. A bonus buy feature is absent; all bonus features must be unlocked through the regular game. The Hive offers a visually appealing and relaxing experience with original gameplay mechanics rather than just strong outliers.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
