Age of Asgard by Yggdrasil is a Video Slot with a Norse mythology theme that revolves around an epic battle between goddesses in Asgard and monsters from the underworld. The basic setup consists of two separate reel machines of 5×3, stacked on top of each other, each with 20 fixed paylines, resulting in a total of 40 paylines in the base game. The symbols are split by machine: goddesses and runes above, monsters and runes below, with both low and high value symbols. There are large Wild symbols that are 3 symbols high on both machines — one for the gods' side, one for the monsters — which replace all standard symbols and can 'nudge' to fill a full reel.
