Lightning Joker

Yggdrasil's Lightning Joker is a video slot that takes cues from traditional fruit machines, showcasing symbols like cherries, lemons, grapes, bells, stars, and the number 7, all embellished with golden accents. The game features a layout of 3 reels and 3 rows, with 5 fixed paylines, emphasizing a retro aesthetic without the intricacies of modern gaming mechanics. Players can immerse themselves in the core gameplay without the distraction of free spins or bonus purchases.

The Rapid Respin feature activates when two reels are filled with matching symbols (or wilds), locking those reels while the third reel spins again to create winning combinations or potentially fill the entire grid. If all nine positions on the grid are occupied by the same symbol or wilds, the Multiplier Strike feature comes into play, applying a random multiplier of ×2, ×3, ×5, or ×10 to the winnings.

The Joker symbol acts as a scatter within the Mystery Win function: when two Jokers land anywhere on the reels, a surprise prize is granted, ranging from ×2 to ×10,000. With three Jokers appearing in any position, the minimum win rises to ×100, and if those three Jokers align on a payline, a higher prize is assured. Additionally, a Wild symbol is present, substituting for regular symbols to aid in forming combinations and enhancing special features like Rapid Respin or Multiplier Strike.

Launched on June 10, 2020, Lightning Joker features a refined classic look, set against a backdrop of purple curtains and golden frames, with animations that accentuate the electrifying effects of the multipliers. The game is available on both mobile and desktop platforms, with all special features active during the base game, negating the need for separate scatter symbols or distinct special rounds aside from the regular spins.
