The Ultimate 5

The Ultimate 5 from Pragmatic Play is a video slot with five reels, three rows, and twenty fixed paylines set in the African savannah. The theme revolves around the iconic "Big Five" – lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and buffalo – and the game features natural environments, drought, grass, and wildlife in the background. The wild symbol is a tree (Baobab) and it can substitute for regular symbols but not for scatter or money symbols. The money symbols also act as the key to the game's Hold & Spin Super Boost feature – they land on reels 2-4 in the base game and on all reels in the bonus mode.

When three or more money symbols appear, the Hold & Spin Super Boost is activated, providing a certain number of respins (often three), which are reset when new money symbols land. If money symbols land adjacent to each other horizontally or vertically, they link together and their value is upgraded to the next level – from multiplier levels up to various jackpot levels such as Mini, Minor, Major, Maxi, and Mega.

The Free Spins symbol is a diamond that, when appearing in amounts of three, four, or five, awards the player eight, ten, or twelve free spins. During these free spins, the reel set is randomly upgraded and the lowest value symbols are removed one by one – first "10", then "J", "Q", "K", and finally "A". Each time a symbol is removed, a wild symbol is also guaranteed on that spin. Additionally, symbol overlays of scatters during free spins can provide extra free spins.

The maximum win in The Ultimate 5 is up to 5,000 times the bet. Players thus have the chance for significant payouts if bonus features perform well and money symbols link effectively. The gameplay combines a fairly simple base game with visually appealing themes and powerful bonus rounds, making The Ultimate 5 particularly enticing for those who enjoy animal-themed slots and an exciting battle for jackpot levels.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
