Aztec Coins

In the video slot Aztec Coins by Platipus, players are immersed in an ancient Aztec setting featuring a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 50 fixed paylines. The game showcases a vibrant array of symbols, including gold artefacts, coins, and classic card ranks, all reflecting the rich culture of the Aztecs. The Wild symbol, represented by the Aztec king, can replace regular symbols, excluding the Scatter and Bonus, and is particularly prominent during Free Spins where it appears stacked. Free Spins are activated when three or more Scatter symbols, depicted as Aztec pyramids, land anywhere on the reels, granting a set number of free rounds. During this feature, additional Wilds may appear on designated reels, and collecting multiple extra Wilds can trigger Mini, Minor, or Major Jackpot prizes.

A Respin feature is activated if at least six Bonus symbols are present in a single spin. These Bonus symbols remain locked, granting three respins, and any additional Bonus symbols that appear during this time will reset the respin counter. The hidden values of these Bonus symbols are totaled at the conclusion of the respins. If all positions on the reels are filled with Bonus symbols during the Respin feature, the Grand Jackpot is awarded. Platipus has crafted this game with multiple fixed jackpot tiers—Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand—available through both Free Spins and the Respin round. The game's high volatility indicates that while payouts may not occur frequently, they can be substantial when the bonus conditions are met.
