Old Gun

Developed by Hacksaw in collaboration with Backseat Gaming, “Old Gun” is a Video Slot game that immerses players in a Wild West setting. The game utilizes a 6×5 grid layout, where wins are achieved through a “Scatter Pays” mechanism that requires at least eight matching symbols to land anywhere on the screen. Higher payouts are offered by premium symbols like cowboy wilds, sheriff badges, whiskey bottles, and drinking glasses, in contrast to the lower-value crystal symbols.

A notable aspect of the game is the presence of “Dynamite” symbols, which appear after a winning combination and can have multiplier values ranging from 2× to 200×; if multiple dynamites are involved, their values are added together. Additionally, a randomly activated feature called “Fire In The Hole!” can boost dynamite multipliers to greater levels following a win in the main game.

In Old Gun, players can engage in two unique Free Spins bonus rounds: Dynamite Dave’s Long Fuse and Dynamite Dave’s Short Fuse. The Long Fuse round is triggered by four Scatter symbols, granting ten free spins and allowing players to collect more Scatter symbols to enhance multiplier levels through a progression ladder, with five extra spins awarded for each level reached. Conversely, the Short Fuse round, activated by five Scatter symbols, starts at a randomly higher level and operates in a similar fashion.

Players also have the option to utilize a Bonus Buy feature, which allows direct access to either the Long Fuse or Short Fuse bonus rounds, as well as special feature rounds. The “FeatureSpins” offer unique spins that come with increased risks and potential rewards, akin to guaranteed Dynamite rounds. The game boasts a maximum winning potential of up to 12,500 times the bet amount.

Visually, Old Gun showcases a warm artistic style with wooden-framed reels, creating an engaging Wild West atmosphere complemented by vintage music and a cartoonish sheriff character. The overall ambiance is enhanced by sound effects and animations, including the sheriff's celebratory actions after each win.

Betting options are diverse, catering to a wide range of players. With medium to high volatility, the game suggests that wins may be less frequent but can be significant. Overall, Old Gun provides a captivating slot experience enriched with Scatter Pays, multiplier symbols, free spin rounds, and Bonus Buy features.
