Ronin Stackways

Hacksaw presents Ronin Stackways, a video slot featuring a 5×4 reel grid that utilizes the Stackways™ mechanic, offering players up to 100,000 ways to win. The game draws inspiration from the feudal era of Japan, showcasing wandering samurai, known as "ronin," alongside stylized animal characters and tranquil landscapes filled with waterfalls and temples.

Central to the gameplay are the Stackways symbols, which come in two varieties. Normal Stackways can transform their respective reels into stacks of 2-4 matching symbols, creating winning combinations when possible. On the other hand, Revealing Stackways enhance this feature, revealing stacks of 5-10 matching symbols that increase the potential for larger wins.

There are two modes for free spins: “Stack Spins” and “Super Stack Spins.” The former is activated by landing three FS scatter symbols, awarding 10 free spins with a heightened chance for both types of Stackways. During this round, additional scatters can retrigger more spins, providing 2 extra spins for two scatters and 4 for three.

In contrast, “Super Stack Spins” is triggered by four FS scatter symbols, also granting 10 free spins, but exclusively featuring Revealing Stackways symbols, which amplify the value of each stack. Similar to Stack Spins, extra FS scatters can lead to additional free spins.

For players in eligible jurisdictions, Ronin Stackways offers Bonus Buy or FeatureSpins options, allowing them to pay a multiple of their base bet to access enhanced spins or directly enter either free spins feature.

The game does not include wild symbols, focusing instead on the interplay between stacked reels and free spin features, emphasizing the expansion of winning ways rather than standalone bonus rounds outside of free spins. Max wins can reach up to 5,000× the bet, particularly rewarding during Super Stack Spins when everything aligns perfectly.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
