Mayan Stackways

Mayan Stackways by Hacksaw is a video slot that showcases a grid consisting of 5 reels and 4 rows, featuring a win-all-ways format that can expand to as many as 100,000 winning combinations thanks to the Stackways mechanic. Players are drawn into the mysterious realm of ancient Mayan civilization, surrounded by lush jungle visuals, temple ruins, and symbols that reflect stone carvings and masks. Central to the gameplay is the Stackways symbol, which can appear stacked with between 2 to 10 identical symbols on its reel, strategically chosen to form the longest winning combination possible.

Landing 3 Scatter symbols, referred to as "Skull scatters," activates the Stack Spins feature, granting players 10 free spins with a higher chance of encountering Stackways symbols. During these free spins, a Reel Activator symbol may appear, locking a reel in place and ensuring that a Stackways symbol will land there for the entirety of the free round. Players can also earn additional spins by landing more Skull Scatters during this feature.

In the base game, if you land 4 Skull Scatters, the Mayan Gold bonus feature is triggered, allowing players to collect coin symbols that assign values to counters positioned above each reel. These values can be enhanced by multipliers, and Stackways symbols can fill reels with coins, locking them in place to prevent further spins. A Collect symbol can then transfer the values from these locked reels to a vault, unlocking them for new chances.

Triggering the Golden Opportunity feature occurs when you achieve 5 Skull Scatters, offering an upgraded version of Mayan Gold where all reels start with predetermined values, increasing the potential for larger wins. The game also provides bonus buy options, enabling players to directly access various bonus modes for a stake multiple, including Stackways Feature Spins, Stack Spins, or the Mayan Gold bonus.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
