Netent's Twister is a video slot that draws inspiration from the iconic Twister party game, created in collaboration with Hasbro. The game showcases a vibrant 1960s retro theme, complete with colorful graphics, character symbols representing four individuals from that era, and low-paying card symbols. It operates on a grid of 4 reels and 6 rows, offering 1,296 ways to win. Wins are determined through Netent’s Avalanche mechanic, where winning symbols disappear, allowing new ones to fall into place and create cascading effects.
A notable aspect of the game is the Twister Spinner, which can activate in both the base game and during Free Spins. When it appears, it activates a wheel divided into four sections representing body parts—Left Foot, Right Foot, Right Hand, Left Hand—where the color of the section indicates the type of Wild it will generate. The Wilds can take on one of four forms: Upgrade Wild (which transforms low-win symbols into medium-win ones), Multiplier Wild (which increases the number of winning ways), Locked Wilds (which remain for multiple Avalanches), or Random Wilds (which introduce additional Wilds).
Free Spins are initiated by landing three or four Scatter symbols, granting either six or eleven spins. During these Free Spins, each Twister Spinner that lands raises a progressive multiplier by +1, starting at 1× and maintaining its value throughout the bonus round without resetting. Players can also earn extra Free Spins by landing additional Scatters during this feature.
Moreover, Twister offers a Buy Feature that enables players to access the Free Spins round directly by paying 100 times their current bet. This guarantees the triggering of three or four Scatters, resulting in an immediate award of six or eleven Free Spins. The maximum win potential reaches up to 4,300 times the bet, and Wilds do not substitute for Scatter symbols. Together, these elements create a dynamic gameplay experience in Twister, characterized by cascades, modifier Wilds, and increasing multipliers.
You can play it for real money.
