Egypt Clusterbuster

Egypt Clusterbuster is a video slot developed by Red Tiger that features a 9 × 9 grid and uses a cluster-based payout system. To achieve a win, it is necessary to form groups of at least five identical symbols that are connected horizontally or vertically. Set in Ancient Egypt, the game includes elements such as scarabs and hieroglyphic symbols, along with a visual environment reminiscent of ancient temples and tombs. In the center of the grid is an inactive block of 3 × 3 squares called “Clusterbuster,” which is unlocked when surrounded by winning clusters; if all its squares are broken, a scarab is released that activates special features.

The game also features the “Ancient Orbs” system, which consists of four colored orbs that are unlocked in sequence when the scarab is released: first the green, then the blue, the red, and finally the purple. Each orb offers a unique modifier that activates randomly on any spin. The green orb allows common symbols to appear as a 3 × 3 Super Symbol; the blue orb can add up to three 3 × 3 Super Wilds; when the red orb activates, it generates a 3 × 3 Super Wild that, after participating in a winning combination, splits into nine wild scarabs randomly distributed; and the purple orb provides a multiplier Super Wild (between ×2 and ×10) that then breaks down into wild scarabs with the same multiplier.

Once all the orbs have been unlocked, releasing the scarab from the Clusterbuster grants a round of 10 free spins, during which the central block does not appear, allowing the grid to fill with normal symbols. In this phase, the probability of activating the orbs increases. Free spins cannot be reactivated in the same round. Additionally, there is a feature buy option that allows players to secure free spins for a cost of 90 times the bet, or a spin with a guaranteed Super Wild for 20 times the bet. The chain reaction mechanic is also included, where the symbols of a winning cluster disappear and the remaining ones fall to create new potential clusters.
