Lion's Hoard

“Lion's Hoard” is a video slot game created by Red Tiger. The game features a layout with 5 reels, each containing 4 symbols, and offers 20 paylines that pay both ways, allowing wins to occur from left to right and right to left. Set in a treasure room adorned in gold, the color palette consists of brown and gold tones, with symbols that include medieval objects like lion motifs, crowns, helmets, and shields.

A standout feature of the game is the “Diamond Reels”: each reel, except for the center one, has four diamond sockets, with two of these sockets filled at the start. White diamond scatters fill the sockets on specific reels; when all four sockets are filled, that reel transforms into a “Diamond Reel,” displaying only locked Mystery Stones symbols.

Mystery Stones symbols randomly change into the same symbol on the activated Diamond Reel and remain locked until they contribute to a winning line. They unlock when they form a win, reverting the reel to its original state and resetting the counter. If a blue diamond scatter appears on the middle reel, all reel sockets are filled at once; if these were previously active, it adds multipliers to the corresponding reels.

Scatter symbols that fill the top of the sockets for each Diamond Reel award reel multipliers, which apply to all winning lines containing active Diamond Reels. If there are multiple reel multipliers, they can be multiplied together to increase the total win, with the highest multiplier level reaching up to ×96. The maximum possible win in the game is 7,150 times the bet amount.

There are no free spins or classic bonus rounds in the game. All special features revolve around the base game, focusing on the Diamond Reels and Mystery Stones mechanics. If four small wild symbols emerge from the Mystery Stones, they can combine to form a sticky super wild (“Super Wild”) of size 1×4, remaining fixed on the reels until used in a winning line.

The graphics and sound effects create an atmospheric medieval ambiance, with lion roars and mysterious lighting highlighting the grandeur of the treasure room. In summary, “Lion's Hoard” offers a rich base game experience enhanced by collected scatters, mystery symbols, and multipliers, rather than a complex bonus round or free spins.
