Chests of Cai Shen

"Chests of Cai Shen," developed by Pragmatic Play, features a high-volatility video slot set on a 5×3 reel grid with 25 fixed paylines. The game is inspired by Chinese mythology, focusing on Cai Shen, the deity of wealth, and incorporates traditional elements such as gold coins, lotus ponds, imperial animals, and lanterns, creating an atmosphere rich in oriental treasures. During the base game, players will notice colored Bonus Coins—green, red, and purple—landing on the reels, which are collected in corresponding chests positioned above the reels and are essential for activating the main bonus. Once a sufficient number of coins of the same color are collected, the Chest Respin bonus round is initiated, following a Hold & Spin format. In this bonus round, only Money symbols and blanks appear, and players start with a set number of respins, which can increase if the purple "Longevity" modifier is in play. There are three distinct modifiers available: the Prosperity modifier (green chest) enhances the values of up to three Money symbols, the Red "Double" modifier introduces an additional 5×3 grid for dual gameplay, and the Purple "Longevity" modifier provides extra respins for greater winning opportunities. These modifiers can be combined, allowing for the possibility of having two or all three active during a single Chest Respin round. Additionally, the game includes a Bonus Buy feature, where players can spend approximately fifty times their bet to access a Chest Respin with one to three random modifiers or around one hundred times their bet to ensure all three modifiers are present from the beginning. The maximum win potential for this feature is capped at roughly ten thousand times the bet, particularly if the grids are filled during the bonus round. In the base game, wild symbols can substitute for regular symbols, but they do not influence the Bonus Coins or Money symbols during the Respin feature.
