John Hunter and Galileo's Secrets

John Hunter and Galileo's Secrets from Pragmatic Play is a video slot built on a 5×3 grid with 10 fixed paylines. The theme of the game is a Renaissance observatory, filled with astronomical instruments, star maps, and mystical books, creating an adventurous and educational atmosphere. The main features include Mystery Symbols, a Respin feature, levels of free spins (including a Super Free Spins mode), and an option to buy features.

The Mystery Symbol appears as a full reel stack, and when fully visible, it transforms into a randomly paying symbol or a Money Symbol; symbols revealed in this way can form wins regardless of their positions, even if they are on non-adjacent reels. If six or more Money Symbols appear anywhere on the reels, the Respin feature is activated — the board then shows only Money Symbols and blanks, with three respins that reset each time a new Money Symbol lands. All Money Symbols are sticky, and if the grid is completely filled, a bonus of 2,000× the bet is awarded in addition to the regular amount.

Three Scatter symbols trigger free spins; two Scatters plus one Super Scatter activate the Super Free Spins mode. Before the free spins begin, one symbol (or Money Symbol) is randomly selected to act as the Mystery Symbol for the round. The free spins are divided into Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Super levels, with higher levels associated with higher value symbols. A "gamble" option allows players to try to upgrade the Mystery Symbol or level before the free spins start, although failed gambles result in the loss of the bonus round. During the free spins, Mystery Symbols that land partially visible will push to fill the entire reel. Filling the free spins meter by collecting Scatters also upgrades the levels and grants extra spins.

The buy feature allows players to jump straight to either the free spins or Super free spins round by paying a fixed cost (usually 80× the bet for standard free spins or 200× for Super free spins). The maximum potential win is 5,000× the bet. The game is quite volatile and focuses on high-reward bonus mechanics rather than frequent small wins.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
