Wrath of Medusa

Wrath of Medusa by Rival is a video slot laid out in a 5 reels × 3 rows format with 20 fixed paylines. The theme draws heavily on ancient Greek mythology, setting the stage within Medusa’s lair with stone ruins, warrior helmets, shields, swords, and mythic symbols alongside Medusa as a wild and Perseus as a scatter. In the base game, Medusa wilds appear only on reels 2, 3, and 4 and can expand to cover the entire reel when doing so helps form a winning combination. Landing three or more Perseus scatter symbols anywhere on the reels triggers a bonus round that begins with a “Stone Soldier Pick” where the player selects a soldier to reveal the number of free spins awarded. During the free spins, wilds (or wild-like symbols) become sticky and whenever they contribute to a win they stay in place and grant a re-spin. No separate bonus-buy option is present. Multiplier features outside of the sticky wild mode are absent. The wager range in this game makes it accessible with minimum and maximum bet levels suitable for both low-stake and more standard plays. The overall design emphasizes continuous play with atmospheric graphics and special features built around wilds, scatters, expanding wilds, sticky wilds and respins.
