Black Mamba

Black Mamba by Play’n GO is a video clip slot with a grid layout of 5×5 instead of fixed paylines. The game creates clusters when you connect at least three identical symbols horizontally or vertically, after which they disappear and new symbols fall from above (cascading reels). Additionally, you build an uncertain but increasing win multiplier with each cascade within a single spin.

The theme is clearly rock music: you play along with an Italian hard rock band, with band members as symbols (Alexandra, Cecilia, Fred) and instruments as lower symbols. There are two wild symbols: the lead singer Martina acts as a Wild with a 2× multiplier, and the band logo is the regular Wild.

There are four so-called Solo features, each linked to one band member. Alexandra destroys two sets of symbols, Cecilia adds one or two wilds, Fred changes one symbol type into another, and Martina removes the bottom row (excluding wilds) and transforms other band members into herself. Solos can be randomly activated on non-winning spins or during bonus rounds.

An additional mechanic is the Charge Meter: when you use band members with wins, you fill this meter (up to six sections). With four to five charged sections, you activate the Concert feature; with six sections, the meter overloads, which can provide extra benefits. During the Concert feature, all four band members perform their solos in succession.

The Free Spins round is only triggered when you clear all symbols from the grid in a single cascade; you then start with eight free spins. The active band member at the time of free spins determines which solo is guaranteed to be activated on each non-winning spin, and Martina always participates. The win multiplier from the trigger spin is carried over as the starting multiplier in the Free Spins and does not reset between spins.

Free Spins can be reactivated by filling the Charge Meter again: four to five sections provide extra spins, while six sections give even more. Additionally, the Concert feature can also occur during Free Spins. If you clear the grid completely again during Free Spins, you receive a fixed payout of 50× your bet.

The maximum win of Black Mamba is set at 5,000× your bet, resulting in high variance. The betting limits range from relatively low to higher amounts per spin.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
