Book of Dead

In the video slot Book of Dead by Play’n GO, players embark on an adventure in Ancient Egypt alongside the explorer Rich Wilde. The game features five reels and three rows, with up to ten adjustable paylines. The Book symbol serves a dual purpose as both a Wild and a Scatter, substituting for other symbols to help form winning combinations in the base game. When three or more Book symbols appear anywhere on the reels, they activate the Free Spins feature. This feature grants ten additional spins, during which a regular symbol is randomly selected to become a Special Expanding Symbol. If this chosen symbol lands during the Free Spins and contributes to a win, it expands to cover the entire reel, regardless of whether its duplicates are adjacent, and wins are calculated across all active paylines. Players can also retrigger Free Spins by landing the required number of Book scatters again during the feature. Additionally, the base game includes a Gamble feature, allowing players to risk their winnings by guessing the color or suit of a hidden card to potentially double or quadruple their rewards. The game is characterized by high volatility, with significant winning potential primarily arising from the Free Spins round when the Expanding Symbol is a high-value icon. There are no complex bonus rounds or bonus buy options beyond the Free Spins with the expanding-symbol mechanic.
