Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena

Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena by Play’n GO is a video slot with five reels and ten fixed paylines where the player embarks on an adventure in Atlantis with Rich Wilde and his daughter Cat Wilde in search of the legendary shield of Athena. The game world is based on Greek mythology with symbols such as the traditional cards (10, J, Q, K, A), a golden owl, a ring, a pendant, a helmet, and the iconic shield of Athena. Rich Wilde acts as the Wild symbol and can replace all other symbols except for the Scatter (Cat Wilde), while the Shield of Athena sometimes transforms into a Wild and activates a special Respin feature.

The Medusa Re-Spin feature can randomly start when the Shield of Athena symbol appears on the reels; it transforms into a Wild, locks in place, and together with any winning combinations or additional Shield or Wild symbols, it grants extra respins until no new improving symbols land. The Medusa’s Gaze Free Spins are triggered by three or more Cat Wilde Scatters, awarding 10, 12, or 15 free spins respectively. During these free spins, the Medusa Re-Spin feature is guaranteed to be active each time the Shield of Athena appears, and the bonus round can be retriggered infinitely by landing enough Scatters again. The maximum payout potential is 10,000× the bet, making this game appealing to players who enjoy high volatility. It is not a bonus buy game; you can only obtain free spins and respins through the regular symbols on the reels. The visual design is detailed and atmospheric, featuring underwater temples, classical architecture, and mythological elements that enhance the underlying themes.
