Rise of Athena

Rise of Athena by Play’n GO is a video slot with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 fixed paylines. The theme draws on Ancient Greek mythology, centering on the goddess Athena; the symbols include playing-card royals alongside items like scrolls, helmets, a Pegasus, and Athena herself. Wild symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and carry a multiplier of either x1, x2 or x3; when multiple Wilds contribute to a win on the same payline their multipliers multiply together (up to a maximum of x27). Free Spins are triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols (represented by Athena’s owl), awarding 12 free spins and an instant win depending on how many Scatters appeared. During the Free Spins round, any Wilds that land become sticky (remain in place) until their multiplier value reduces to zero, decreasing by one per spin; once that happens the Wild is removed. The Scatter symbol does not appear during Free Spins, and additional free spin retriggers are not possible. The betting range spans from low to high stakes suitable to various players, and the game offers a single bonus round rather than a feature-buy option. Rise of Athena focuses on its Multiplier Wilds and the interaction of sticky Wilds in Free Spins to drive the biggest win potential.
