Scourge of Rome

Scourge of Rome by Play’n GO is a video slot set on a 6-reel, 4-row grid that starts out with 4,096 ways to win. The theme draws on the epic tale of Hannibal Barca and his campaign across the Alps, featuring symbols like elephants, warriors, Hannibal himself, and war imagery set against a cold, mountainous backdrop. In the base game there are special wilds: the Hannibal Wild appears on reels 2-5, and if two or more land in a spin it triggers the Wild Flip feature, giving each wild involved in a win a 50/50 chance to expand into a full-reel wild (Hannibal & Sirius). Scatters are used to trigger Free Spins: landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 scatters grants 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins respectively. During Free Spins the game unleashes the Abyssways mechanic, in which symbols at the bottom of the reels are frozen and then fall off, while new symbol rows are added at the top to change the reel shape and grow the number of ways to win. Elephant symbols become sticky in free spins, and ignore gaps between reels when forming wins. A Warhorn symbol can also appear during Free Spins, moving elephant symbols up before frozen symbols are removed, and ensuring a minimum number of elephants on the reels. There is no Bonus Buy option in Scourge of Rome. The slot allows betting from 0.10 up to 100 per spin and offers a maximum win of up to 40,000× the stake.
