Viking Runecraft 100 by Play’n GO is a video slot built on a 5×5 cascading grid where wins are formed by getting 3 or more matching symbols adjacent horizontally or vertically rather than along fixed paylines. The theme draws on Norse mythology, featuring gods Thor, Freya, and Heimdall, along with Viking weaponry and rune symbols. On each winning tumble, matched symbols are removed and new symbols drop down, and each cascade increases a Win Multiplier. When exactly three symbols are removed in a winning combination, a Rune Wild is placed in the middle of that group. The Wild functions as a substitute for other symbols and has its own paylines value. A God Power feature may trigger randomly during non-winning spins: Thor’s Thunder transforms one symbol set into another, Freya’s Magic adds one or two Wilds, and Heimdall’s Vision removes two full sets of symbols from the grid. There is a meter to the side which fills with wins containing God symbols or Wilds; when fully charged this triggers the Ragnarök feature where all three God Powers activate in one spin. If you manage to clear the entire grid during the Ragnarök feature, the Free Spins bonus round is triggered, letting you choose one god: Thor (4 free spins), Freya (5 free spins), or Heimdall (8 free spins).
