The Library

The Library by Hacksaw is a high-volatility video slot built on a 5-reel, 4-row grid that uses the Stackways mechanic to expand reels and boost ways to win. The theme is a mysterious, book-filled library, with symbols inspired by famous literary figures alongside standard playing cards. There are no traditional wild symbols; instead Stackways symbols appear showing values from 2 to 10, representing multiple copies of a symbol to help form wins. The base game offers up to 100,000 ways to win, which can expand to as many as 3.2 million during bonus features. Landing 3 Scatter symbols triggers the “Stack The Shelves Free Spins” round, awarding 10 free spins and selecting one symbol to act as a special stacking symbol that pays when it lands on three or more reels. If you land 4 Scatters either from the base game or during free spins, it upgrades to “Super Stack The Shelves Free Spins,” where two special symbols are active. There is a Feature Buy option with multiple tiers: for example, one option boosts the chance to trigger bonus features, another guarantees Stackways symbols per spin, and the highest tier grants direct access to the free spins feature. The top win is capped at 10,000× the bet, and betting ranges allow for modest to higher stakes per spin.
