5 Clans: The Final Battle

5 Clans: The Final Battle by Yggdrasil is a video slot with 5 reels, 3 rows, and fixed 10 paylines where players need symbols on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel for a winning combination. The theme is set in a fantasy world where five warrior clans – the clans of fire, ice, dragon, wolf, and lion – battle for dominance amidst fiery volcanoes. The symbols consist of low cards (hearts, spades, clubs, diamonds) and the higher values are determined by the clan leaders such as Kai McDuff, Eira Frost, Lupa-left eye, Dracomorgan, and Abbas.

There are various special features activated by 'shield symbols' of different colors. The red lion shield activates Super Wilds on a complete reel plus respins; the green wolf shields transform into regular wilds and provide respins where new wilds remain 'sticky'; purple dragon shields bring mystery symbols with respins, after which these shields transform into a high-value leader symbol; blue ice or snowflake shields can provide a random multiplier of up to ×50 on wins.

The golden shield of Kai McDuff appears only on reel 5 and activates the Free Spins Bonus with initially 9 free spins. During the Free Spins, additional golden shields on reel 5 can yield 3 extra free spins, and all shield bonuses occur more frequently in this feature. Players can also use the Bonus Buy option, allowing them to start the Free Spins immediately by paying the set amount without having to find the trigger through the base games first.

Wild symbols act as substitutes for other symbols except for the bonus or scatter symbols, and there are both regular wilds and expanding wilds (expanding wilds / super wilds) that can cover entire reels. The game also offers respin mechanisms where winning features or symbols remain locked while the other reels spin again, as long as the triggering shield continues to appear. The potential for big wins is significant due to the combination of multipliers, expanding wilds, respins, and free spins – but varies in frequency.

You can try it for free in demo mode or play it for real money.
