Ancient Eclipse

Ancient Eclipse by Yggdrasil is a video slot developed in partnership with Bang Bang Games that uses a 5-reel, 4-row layout and 50 fixed paylines. Its theme draws on Mayan or Aztec iconography with towering jungle temples, carved stone gods and animals, and symbols like card suits, wilds, moons, and warriors. The game’s main feature is the Sun Frame mechanic: whenever a Moon symbol lands, it leaves behind a sticky Sun Frame in that position. If later a Moon symbol lands in a position with a Sun Frame, the Eclipse feature is triggered and all Sun Frames on the reels turn wilds. That spin also applies a multiplier equal to the number of Eclipse triggers. The free spins round—called Sticky Sun Free Spins—is activated by landing three scatter warrior symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. The round starts with 10 free spins, during which Sun Frames carry over and remain locked in place for its duration. During free spins, any Moon symbols landing on spins that do not trigger the Eclipse feature still award an extra free spin while adding Sun Frames. The wild symbol substitutes for regular symbols for forming winning combinations. The game does not offer a bonus buy option.
