HippoPop by AvatarUX is a video slot in the PopWins™ series which uses expanding reel mechanics to deliver escalating ways to win. The game starts with a 5-reel grid at 3 symbols high, and every time you land a win the winning symbols “pop” and are replaced by two new symbols, potentially increasing reel heights up to 6 symbols in the base game. The number of ways to win thus grows from 486 initially up to 65,536 in free spins, depending on how high the reels expand. You trigger the free spins feature by reaching the full 6-row height on all reels during the base game.
